National Bullying Prevention Spirit Week Schedule
Bullying is a huge, ongoing problem that can really hurt and affect others. It’s not always physical; sometimes it’s words, rumors, or things people post online. At East Ridge, we strive to ensure that everyone feels safe and included.
If you know about someone getting bullied, discriminated against, or made fun of in any way, don’t just ignore it! Tell a teacher, counselor, or a trusted adult. You can talk to our counselors, Miss Brown, Miss Young, or Miss Johnson, or our student support coach, Miss Marchbanks, if you ever need help or someone to listen. Remember, help is always available, and it’s better to speak up!
Even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Try sitting with someone alone, giving a compliment, saying “have a good day!” etc. Little things go a long way! You never know how much it could mean to them.
This week is National Bullying Prevention Spirit Week, but kindness shouldn’t stop there; it’s something we can all practice and demonstrate every day! Remember that kindness takes barely any effort, but it can make such an amazing difference. Be kind and love always!
